An Alexa skill that helped Sarasota home buyers and sellers find a real estate agent, with SMS follow-up and a directory the brokerage could update in Google Sheets.

I built the Alexa conversation in Voiceflow, integrated Twilio for SMS, and gave the brokerage a Google Sheets directory it could maintain independently. The skill went from kickoff to launch in 52 days.
RE/MAX Platinum of Sarasota
2019 · 52 days to launch
RE/MAX Platinum wanted to launch a voice experience for buyers and sellers in Sarasota, Florida. The team had a tight deadline to design the conversation, connect the supporting tools, and submit the skill to Amazon for certification.
The brokerage also needed staff to be able to maintain the agent directory after launch. Updates had to fit a workflow the team could manage on its own.
I handled UX design, UX writing, and voice interface design, then built the conversation in Voiceflow. The skill used Alexa to connect buyers and sellers with agents, and I integrated Twilio’s API to handle text messages.
I set up the agent directory in Google Sheets. Staff could update entries directly as the roster changed. Once the skill was ready, I submitted it to Amazon for certification.
Buyers and sellers use the Alexa conversation built in Voiceflow.
The skill uses Twilio to deliver SMS messages.
Brokerage staff maintain the agent listings in Google Sheets.
The skill launched in 52 days. SRQ Daily covered the 2019 launch under the name Platinum Agent. The original case study reports a 5.0 average Amazon rating and describes RE/MAX Platinum as the first Sarasota real estate brand to establish a voice strategy.
The brokerage could maintain its own agent listings after launch through the shared spreadsheet.
