Experimental AI-powered web application.
An experimental sandbox for pushing the limits of AI interaction patterns. Used to test generative UI and dynamic content before client implementation.

AI capabilities are evolving faster than best practices. We needed a safe space to experiment with "weird" ideas—generative interfaces, non-deterministic flows, and agentic behaviors—without risking client projects.
The challenge was to build a flexible platform that could easily swap models and try new interaction paradigms.
NanoBanana was built as a modular playground. It connects to multiple LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, local models) and allows for rapid A/B testing of prompts and UI patterns.
We experimented with "generative UI"—where the AI builds the interface based on the conversation context—and dynamic storytelling engines.
- Validated three new interaction patterns now used in client work.
- Created a library of robust prompts for generative UI components.
- Serves as a continuous testbed for the latest API releases.
